Some of the Current Conditions in Africa
1. More than 300 Million Africans are illiterates and about 30 million Children are out of school
2. 45% of Africans lives below poverty line of $1/day
3. Africans are more prone to diseases as a result of substandard environment, poor and irresponsive governance:
• Child mortality is still 171 from every 1000 birth
• Infant mortality is 102 from every 1000 birth
• Maternal mortality remain high at about 940 from 100,000 birth
• Malaria disease remain a huge threat
• 25 Million Africans are infected with HIV/AIDS
• African life span is just 46 years in the average.
